Novi Sad Oncology Congress

Dear esteemed colleagues, distinguished guests, and valued sponsors,
It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I welcome you all in Novi Sad to the 14th Novi Sad Oncology Congress.
As we gather here today, representing various disciplines and specialties within the field of oncology, we are united by a common purpose: the pursuit of advancements in cancer research, treatment, and care. This conference serves as a beacon of hope, illuminating pathways towards improved patient outcomes in our region.
Before we delve into the sessions and discussions planned for the next three days, I extend our appreciation to those whose generous support has made this gathering possible: Oncology Institute of Vojvodina, University of Novi Sad, AROME and of course, our sponsors, both large and small, whose contributed to the success of this event. Your belief in our mission empowers us to push the boundaries of what is possible in the fight against cancer.
As we embark on this collective journey over the coming days, let us harness the power of collaboration, innovation, and compassion to drive meaningful change in the oncology landscape. Together, we have the potential to transform the lives of our patients, offering them hope, healing, and a future filled with promise. Especially nowadays when we have a new list of available innovative drugs.
Once again, I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you. May this conference be a source of inspiration as we strive towards our shared goal of conquering cancer.
Thank you.

Novi Sad Oncology Congress

“We, Professor JP Lotz and I, founded the French-Serbian Oncology Society (FSOS) more than one decade ago, as an voluntary, non-governmental and non-profit organization. FSOS was founded for an indefinite period of time in order to improve professional, scientific and educational activity. It was an idea thathas remaind the same until today!
Professor JP Lotz and I are proud and happy, because our ideas have remained the same. Today, our colleagues continue on the same path that we have taken more than 15 years ago, and Novi Sad Oncology Congress has become a recognizable, valued and very competent scientific and professional gathering in this part of the Europe. With participants and dear colleagues from all over the world, the congress has long ago surpassed the French Serbian Oncology Society!
Let it stay that way!
Happy work, dear colleagues!

Novi Sad Oncology Congress

“Each return to Serbia is an event and an extraordinary pleasure. It all started very simply with a long meeting with the deans of the faculties of Serbia in February 2007 then a request for a conference at the Institute of Oncology in Novi Sad by Professor Darjana Jovanovic…A small conference she told me and finally a conference at the medical university with the press and television. The next day, I learned from the press that I was going to come back every three months! what a charming trap! I learned a lot during my 70 trips: great encounters, the creation of a congress, a way of working and the incredible friendship of the Serbians I met during musical evenings. My most beautiful musical memory: the discovery of Djordje Balasevic!
Also great meetings within the hospital: D&D and my colleagues Gorana Matovina Brko, Tanja Roganovic, Dragutin Donat and finally Professor Lazar Popovic, such a beautiful and well-deserved career.
I am happy with this new congress and happy to welcome you!
Long life to the NSOC!”
